Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)

The Acquired Brain Injury Waiver program addresses the needs of people with acquired and traumatic brain injuries who would otherwise receive services in an institutional setting. This program provides active care management with a wide array of both medical and non-medical home and community-based services. A main goal is to meet an individual’s cognitive, physical and behavioral support needs.

ELGIBILITY

ABI Waiver is open to any Medicaid Member (on Husky A, C or D) that meets the functional requirements established for the program. Eligible clients are between 18 – 64 years of age.
