SWCAA’s Congregate Meal Program offers adults aged 60 and over the opportunity to enjoy a nutritious, well-balanced lunch in a friendly, social setting. Many meal sites are located at senior centers or housing communities, where participants can also take part in various activities.
The program promotes healthy aging through group nutrition education and counseling focused on the role of nutrition in preventive health. Meals are supported by federal and state funding, with a small suggested donation—no one is turned away for inability to contribute.
