Housing discrimination is illegal throughout the state of Connecticut. It is against the law to deny anyone housing based on race, color, national origin, sex, religion,
disability, age, sexual orientation, or family status. The following agencies provide assistance to individuals who feel they may be a victim of housing discrimination
as well as provide information about individuals’ rights and responsibilities under the fair housing laws in Connecticut.

The CT Housing Finance Authority has approved the following agencies to assist families struggling with their mortgage payments to explore all foreclosure
prevention options available to them.
