ADVOCACY Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) advocate for the needs of senior adults 60 years of age and older. AAAs are have the responsibility of assessing the needs of older adults, assisting in the development of services and then allocating federal funds to grantees who implement the services. Therefore, AAAs come to understand the needs as well as the gaps in service for seniors. Please contact your local Area Agency on Aging (1-800-994-9422) or the Connecticut Coalition on Aging, Inc., P.O. Box 398, Cheshire CT 06410-0398 for further information.
